PerkinElmer has expanded its OneSource laboratory services to include strategic laboratory consulting services.
OneSource strategic solutions will deliver PerkinElmer's informatics, instrumentation, service and process optimization, to increase laboratories' productivity and performance.
Due to limited access to laboratory personnel, the information technology expertise and budgetary resources, it is often challenging for companies to focus on optimizing their laboratory operations.
PerkinElmer has developed a strategic approach to identify and implement new processes and services to improve laboratory workflow and optimize capital assets across the laboratory, laboratory IT systems, staff and processes.
PerkinElmer Environmental Health president Dusty Tenney said that the new consulting services are a natural expansion of OneSource laboratory services in which the company has a strong track record of improving laboratory efficiency up to 30%.
"Through OneSource Strategic Lab Solutions, we will provide a strategic evaluation of customers' current laboratory processes to identify opportunities to improve laboratory efficiencies through automating workflows and maximizing assets as well as establishing a clear plan to meet their specific business and scientific goals," Tenney added.
OneSource Laboratory Services offers an array of capabilities that includes multivendor scientific technology solutions, scientific IT solutions, asset management and relocation, qualification, and comprehensive lab informatics.
