High Supply, an American distributor of child resistant CRREO bags, jars and vials, has invested an undisclosed amount to expand its warehouse space to cater to the growing demand for child resistant packaging in the retail and medical marijuana markets.
Offering products that conform to the 16 CFR 1700.20 (1995) child resistant standard and the ASTM D3475-13 child resistant classification standard, High Supply has invested heavily in purchase of equipment and increased manpower to cater to the demand.
With the aim of making their products available to dispensaries and infused manufacturers on demand regardless of the bulk of the order or customer's location, High Supply has also entered into agreements with new sub-distributors.
Following the newly enacted Colorado Retail Marijuana Rule 1004.5 which has redefined and tightened the rules for packaging marijuana infused products, the company will be introducing a new product line to meet the needs of single serving child resistant packaging.
According to the new set of guidelines, it is now required for all medical marijuana flower and edible products to be packaged in child resistant packaging like retail marijuana products.
The owners are expecting a drastic increase in sales due to the new rules which came into effect on 1 August 2014.
