It's reported that the Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel planned to start ordering equipment for the new specialty steel long product plant at its Dangjin works in October. The new plant will own capacity of 1 million tons of specialty steel, mainly supplied for engine and transmission components. Also, it's expected that the new plant will help to reduce the country's rely on imports for key automotive components. It's learned that the new plant will supply exclusively for Hyundai Kia Automotive Group.
