The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is recalling several Natrel milk products made by Agropur, a Canadian Agricultural cooperative, due to spoilage.

The Natrel milk products are being sold in Quebec, Ontario and Nova Scotia.

Several milk products of various formats are affected by the recall. They include Fine-Filtered Skim Milk, 1% Partly Skimmed Milk, 2%Partly Skimmed Milk and Homogenized Milk, as well as Organic Fine-Filtered 1% Partly Skimmed Milk, 2% Partly Skimmed, and 3.8% Whole Milk.

The agency noted that the hazard classification was a Class 3, which is not likely to result in health problems. The milk can be returned to grocery stores.

In September, Agropur Coopérative pulled milk products from shelves after consumers complained about their condition weeks before the expiry date.

Officials also found faults in the pasteurising equipment at the Quebec City plant.
