Reusable transport packaging systems manufacturer Rehrig Pacific has chosen iApp Platform from InSync Software to implement all RFID and GPS-enabled supply chain services for various verticals.
Rehrig Pacific IT operations director Rob Martin said the platform allows the company to use the same application template and tailor it to the specific needs of each industry vertical or the needs of a specific customer.
"iApp allowed Rehrig to consolidate several purpose built and custom applications into one platform allowing us to centrally manage, monitor and effect existing and new applications," Martin added.
Besides, the company intended to leverage a solution, which is capable of working with any kind of automated identification technology including passive RFID, NFC, WIFI and GPS.
Rehrig Pacific technology services national sales director Kaley Parkinson said, "Using iApp's flexible and powerful reporting tool - iApp Vista(?), we were able to make changes to the dashboards, get feedback from the customer and refine the dashboards until they were just right."
