Taiwan's direct Internet connection with 15 countries (including Hong Kong and Macao) reached total bandwidth of 1.611Tbps as of the end of third-quarter 2015, increasing 3.23% on quarter and 13.28% on year, according to the government-sponsored Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC).
HiNet (operated by Chunghwa Telecom) had international Internet connection bandwidth of 855.544Gbps at the end of the third quarter, the largest among all local ISPs or non-commercial equivalents in Taiwan, followed by TWGate with 161.020Gbps, TFN with 158.355Gbps, ncic (Sparq) with 117.840Gbps, NTT with 74.643Gbps, AGC with 73.733Gbps, CNS-KBT with 64.000Gbps, EBIX with 29.867Gbps, So-net with 13.000Gbps and HGC with 11.866Gbps.
