CANAIVE Organized Participation of 11 Apparel Firms From The Region at EL Buen Fin

The department of National Chamber of Apparel Industry (CANAIVE) in the Mexican state of Puebla-Tlaxcala, organized participation of 11 apparel firms from the region, at the recently held ‘El Buen Fin’ ( The Good Weekend) program of the Ministry of Economy, Mexico.

According to a statement issued by CANAIVE, the participation at the program was to ensure and extend support to the local apparel sector of the Puebla region.

During the 4-day event, the participating apparel firms presented various products including denim garments, casual wear, dresses, lycra products, kidswear, men’s shirts and pants for both men and women, all at discounted rates varying from 25 to 50 percent.

Federico Chilian Espinosa, president of Puebla-Tlaxcala CANAIVE, said the objective of participating at the El Buen Fin program is to echo the Mexican Government’s aim to revive the country’s economy by encouraging consumption and improve the quality of life of all Mexicans, through implementation of various offers and discounts on apparel goods.

All the apparel firms displayed 100 percent Puebla manufactured clothing and apparel goods at the event, he added.

The apparel firms participating at the four-day event included International Basic Clothing, Fuerte Fashion, Bonetera RYT, Canaical, Distribuidora Puchs, Provider of Creative Uniforms and Supplies, Enrich Couture, Seamless Global Solutions, MG and Special Patterns.

The El Buen Fin program, organized by the Mexican Ministry of Economy, is an annual nationwide shopping event in Mexico, which was initiated in 2011. The event takes place during the third weekend of November, and is the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the country.

During the event, major retailers in the country extend their store hours and offer special promotions on products, including extended credit terms and price promotions.
