US carmaker Chevrolet is planning to unveil the production version of 2014 Sonic Dusk sedan at the upcoming SEMA show to be held in Las Vegas, US from 30 October 2012.
The new sedan will be powered by an Ecotec 1.4L turbocharged engine generating an output of 138hp and 200Nm between 1,850 rpm and 4,900 rpm.
The engine of production models will be mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Chevrolet marketing vice president Chris Perry said: "We're moving quickly to bring Sonic Dusk to Chevrolet showrooms."
Claimed to be the only sedan being built in the US, the 2013 Chevrolet Sonic is placed between the new Spark and the Cruze.
The vehicle will also be equipped with ten standard air bags as well as 18-inch aluminum wheels
