Julie Wise – Regional Manager Cotton Australia and Sally Ceeney – Stewardship Technical Specialist with the Cotton Industry Development & Delivery Team, have opened an office in Warren as “The Cotton Office” for the Macquarie Valley. The office is located at 5 Burton Street Warren, which is opposite the Post Office.
At this stage the office will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays, and will provide a place for growers/consultants/general public to pick up their Development and Delivery team publications such as Cotton Pest Management guide, Cotton Harvest Safety DVD’s, Cotton farm safety posters, myBMP demonstrations etc.
Julie advises that she is running individual on-farm demonstrations of myBMP, minimizing the time needed by growers to become registered and acquainted with the program and all it has to offer. The demonstration takes growers through the Human Resources module of the program and is a quick and easy introduction.
