The 3rd East China Glass Market Seminar of 2012 Was Held on April 12th

The 3rd East China Glass Market Seminar of 2012 was held on April 12th. The seminar was organized by Shandong Jinjing Glass, Vice president and general secretary of China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, Zhang Baiheng and representatives from 19 enterprises attended the seminar. Sponsor of the seminar delivered welcoming speech and representatives gave reports about the situation of production, sales, stock and projects under construction. Zhang Baiheng circulated a notice of the operation of the current market and gave a deep analysis about market, policy, etc. They also reached a consensus as follows. Firstly, inventory of the enterprises had different fluctuation and the market is still hovering at a loss price. The main factor that restrict the start of current price is excess production capacity and subsequent influence of it. Promotion of industry integration, production restriction and reduction of output is the main route to help the industry to recover. Secondly, the market is in the key stage of stagflation recently, price cut will not promote the sales up considerably. The emphasis should be put on promoting back up of the market.
