Canada-based CAM Packaging Systems has unveiled an automatic side sealer that offers single solution system for vegetable and fruit packaging needs.
According to the company, the food packaging equipment has the ability to both shrink wrap and flow wrap the produce.
The non-stop equipment, which has a sealing bar, is said to provide a wide variety of packaging styles specifically to food manufacturing industry with flexibility and film saving features.
In front of the side sealer, there is a film dispenser unit and a film wind unit for easy access to replace film wrap, said the company.
The machine is claimed to handle all types of film such as Polyolefin, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and barrier films.
CAM Packaging's automatic side sealer can complete standard wrapping and bagging, and can create bags with a Euro-hole or handle system for easy carrying of the product.
Additional features of the equipment include the use of a modified atmosphere system to pack in protected atmosphere with barrier film to increase shelf-life of produce.
CAM Packaging Systems owner Gareth Kennedy said the automatic side sealer is an irreplaceable equipment for packaging purpose.
