Ukraine-based Azovstal, a subsidiary of Ukraine's largest vertically-integrated mining and steel group Metinvest, has stated that in March it plans to ship around 100,000-105,000 mt of plates, up 40-41 percent compared to February, and about 180,000-185,000 mt of slabs, down 15 percent month on month.
In the January-February period of the current year, Azovstal shipped around 125,000 mt of plates, down 34 percent year on year, including 80,000 mt for export and 45,000 mt for the domestic market.
