ID Technology Introduces a New HDP Series of Lasers From Macsa ID

ID Technology, manufacturer and integrator of custom identification systems, has launched a new HDP Series of Lasers from Macsa ID, which will be showcased for the first time at Pack Expo International.

ID Technology Launches New HDP Laser Series

Powered by labelling, coding and marking solutions providers Pro Mach, the new series is capable of cutting and perforating flexible films and foils effectively. It also marks high-resolution images on difficult substrates.

The company claims that the technology is best suited for the selective cutting and scoring of layers in the most complex plastic films. Since the laser does not come in direct physical contact with the product unlike mechanical dies, blades and punches, it suffers minimal wear.

This combination of cutting and coding makes the laser appropriate for integration with form, fill and seal equipment where it is needed to both cut plastic film and apply lot code information to it.

The HDP series is easy to install and integrate. They are also completely network enabled and come with an on-board computer which eliminates the need for an external computer. The Marca software helps in coding precisely and consistently.

The lens' quality and focal distance also allows the laser for a larger marking area while maintaining high quality, thin line characters.

Apart from this new equipment, the company will also be displaying its complete line of labelling, coding and marking solutions at the expo.

Based in Texas, the company operates 18 regional offices across the US and Canada and is a provider for labelling, coding and marking equipment, expertise, service and supplies.
