Feng Hsin, one of the major steel long product makers in Taiwan, announced to remain its list prices for rebar, section steel and scraps unchanged for this week.
This is the fourth time in a row that Feng Hsin keeps the prices unchanged.
After the announcement, the company’s list prices for rebar at NT$17,000/ton; those for section steel at NT$18,600~NT$18,800/ton and those for scraps at NT$10,300~NT$11,000/ton.
Since the scrap import prices increased last week, the rebar price should rise as well.
However, Feng Hsin decided to remain its prices flat for this week in order to stabilize the market demand.
