Ford China has unveiled the 2013 Ford EcoSport SUV at Beijing Auto Show.
EcoSport SUV will be powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) Ecoboost engine, which will deliver an output of 120PS.
According to carmaker, the new SUV will feature SYNC with voice control, smart keyless entry, ford power start, and a cooled bin in the glovebox.
The SUV will also be equipped with safety technologies which include anti-lock brake system (abs) and electronic stability program, dual front airbags and side curtain airbags.
It will also be equipped with driver-assist feature including hill launch assist and rear parking sensors while its chassis will feature electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) for enhanced steering response and fuel efficiency.
Ford said that the new SUV for China will be produced at its Chongqing facility while the company is also planning to manufacture it in Brazil, Thailand, India later
