Japan's Ferrous Scrap Exports Totaled 735,211 Metric Tons in November This Year

According to statistics released by Japan's Ministry of Finance, Japan's ferrous scrap exports totaled 735,211 metric tons in November this year, decreasing by 7.4 percent month on month and up 19.3 percent compared to November 2011.

In November this year, Japanese scrap exports to China totaled 326,135 metric tons, while exports to South Korea amounted to 320,287 metric tons, increasing by 28.2 percent and down 6.3 percent respectively, both compared to November 2011.

Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of this year, Japan's scrap exports amounted to 7.7 million metric tons, increasing by 60.2 percent year on year.
