Yoplait, the yogurt brand owned by US food company General Mills, has introduced new Yoplait Simplait yogurt.
Yoplait Simplait has been developed from a combination of 6 simple, all-natural ingredients including cultured pasteurized grade A milk, fruit, sugar, corn starch, natural flavor and a vegetable or fruit juice or extract or pectin, the company said.
New Yoplait Simplait is available in four flavors including Strawberry, Vanilla, Peach and Blackberry. It contains 7g of protein per 6oz-serving and is a good source of calcium.
Yoplait Simplait will be available nationally in August, 2012, and has a suggested retail price of $0.90 per single-serve cup.
