The decree of France pointed that since January 1 in 2013 the 44-ton five-axis Truck will be allowed as road transport equipment to drive on the road, the chemical industry alliance ( Union des Industries chimiques, UIC ) expressed support. When the decree become effective, the enterprises can obtain economic benefits, also can obtain the environmental benefits.

In the aspect of economy, the transport and logistics are great challenge for the chemical industry, the average share of transportation costs in the chemical industry enterprises accounted for 10%, while the good development of industrial activity needs the reasonable arrangement on transport and little coat on it.

The chemical industry is main pillar of the France economy suffering from the fierce competition, suitable transport equipment is good to improve the competitiveness of the industry, therefore, the 44-ton five-axis truck will bring economic benefits.

In terms of environmental protection, the country to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, the noise pollution and the traffic congestion are also the problem for adjustment in transport equipment. The 44-ton five-axis truck is allowed on the road will reduce vehicle mileage, thus will reduce fuel consumption.

For bulk products and bulky products, the new law plays a more visible role to reduce the road vehicles. French Chemical Industry alliance expected that in 2013 15% of chemical products will be transported by the 44-ton Truck.
