Beverage can manufacturer Rexam has secured a contract from the iced tea brand MangaJo to supply aluminum cans for lightly carbonated green tea beverages, MangaJo Sparkling Pressé.
As part of the deal, Rexam will help MangaJo swap its current glass containers with aluminum cans and supply cans with capacity of 330ml.
Rexam cans not only offer recycling credentials and contemporary feel but also help MangaJo strengthen its position in the premium drink category.
MangaJo co-founder Alex Hannon said the company is impressed with the way Rexam is able to work with smaller brands.
"Our new Sparkling Pressé is very different to current carbonated drinks in the market and it is important that our pack reflects this," Hannon added.
