The seven pieces in the Maleficent collection include horn, dragon, feather and fire motifs.
New York--Fine jewelry brand Crow's Nest has teamed with Walt Disney Pictures to create a limited-edition collection of jewelry for the upcoming film Maleficent, which tells the story of Sleeping Beauty's villain.
Of the seven-piece collection, which includes statement rings, bracelets and an ear cuff, six are made in rhodium with black diamonds and a pear-shaped onyx. One 18-karat yellow gold ring features red and yellow sapphires.
Prices for the line range from approximately $4,150 to $22,400, and will be on sale beginning in May on both the Crow's Nest and Disney websites.
"Working with Disney is like a dream come true, an honor for me to have been given this opportunity so early in the brand's history," said Crow's Nest founder and Director Daniel Belevitch. "The Maleficent collection has enabled me to create a collection that is dramatic and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It's fierce."
Maleficent, which will hit theaters on May 30, is the untold story of the iconic villain from Sleeping Beauty and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her heart into stone. It is not an animated film.
The movie stars Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning and was directed by Oscar-winning director Robert Stromberg.
