The Latest Technology and Highest Quality Equipment for Processing and Product Handling

Part of Heat and Control's mission statement is that it provides "the latest technology and highest quality equipment for processing, product handling, packaging, and inspection." These days, that statement means it is constantly reviewing and updating the products in its ranges.

So Heat and Control is using interpack to launch a number of new products.

In conveying and seasoning solutions, the company will unveil the Revolution Mid-Gate, which can be mounted at the beginning, middle or end of the FastBack conveyor pan. This enhancement eliminates product transfer pinch-points but retains the advantages of proportional distribution: zero cross-contamination, reduced product breakage, easy cleaning, and safe, responsive full-open to full-closed speeds for all throughputs.

It will also display the FastBack 400E AccuCoat dual geometry seasoning drum, whose advanced design decreases standard deviation of chip-to-chip dwell time by over 30%.  This improves seasoning coverage, adhesion, and application rates, and is available only with the Revolution On-Machine Seasoning system.

The new FastBack FDX for conveyor is 40% smaller than comparable inertia drive horizontal motion conveyors. It handles runs up to 100 feet long and up to 300 cubic feet of product accumulation. Like other FastBack conveyors, FDX reduces product damage, prevents separation of blends, is easy to clean, quiet, and needs no preventive maintenance.

Heat and Control's FastBack WeighBack is a cleaner, more accurate alternative to troublesome weigh belts. The continuous weighing conveyor features a removable weigh tray for easy cleaning and access to its load cells. User-friendly controls provide manual and auto-tare functions with clear displays of instantaneous and cumulative operating data.

The company will also show its automatic solution for transferring dry seasonings, granules, and powders without hazardous lifting - the high-capacity Powder On Demand (POD).
