Mexico's PMI is set to export 1.4 million barrels of fuel oil in July from the country's Pacific Coast, a source familiar with the company's operations said Friday.
The trading arm of state-owned oil and gas producer Pemex, PMI plans to sell 350,000 barrels of fuel oil for each of four loading windows in March, the source said. The loading dates are July 9-11, 14-16, 25-27, and 29-31. The barrels will be leaving from the Pacific Coast port of Salina Cruz.
Mexico exported 2.1 million barrels of fuel oil in April and 1.75 million barrels in March. The country is a main supplier of fuel oil to the US West Coast bunker market.
In April, Pemex exported 57,000 b/d of gasoline, down 6,800 b/d from March; 95,300 b/d of fuel oil, up 22,800 b/d from a month earlier; and 100 b/d of LPG, the same as the earlier month, according to company data.
Pemex also exported a total of 168,700 b/d of refined oil products in April, up 15,000 b/d from March, according to its monthly oil production statistics.
