In January this year,Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal(DSS)posted a 7.4 percent year-on-year increase in its crude steel production to 24,000 mt.The company's output of finished steel in the same month declined by 23.7 percent year on year to 10,600 mt.
In February this year,the company plans to produce 20,000 mt of crude steel and to purchase 8,000 mt of steel scrap.
Dneprospetsstal's activities cover the design,manufacture and distribution of stainless,tool,high-speed,bearing and alloy structural steel products.DSS'products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts,tools for metal and alloy machining,seamless pipes and bearings.
