US-based supplier of plastic, glass and metal containers and closures Berlin Packaging has expanded its Dangerous Goods division in Houston, Texas.
Occupying an area of 80,000ft2, customers in Gulf Coast states are provided considerable savings on shipping costs and faster transit times, with the new packaging assembly/production line, for dangerous goods and temperature-sensitive materials.
The Houston facility joins over 90 other Berlin Packaging sales and warehouse locations throughout North America.
Dangerous Goods serves customers in areas, such chemical, petroleum and fuel, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.
Berlin Packaging chief operating officer Larry Rydzewski said they have offered warehousing and logistics services in Houston and the Texas region for decades.
"This production and assembly line in Houston is another example of our commitment to being America's preferred Hybrid Packaging Supplier," added Rydzewski.
