Lundberg Family Farms Is Voluntarily Recalling Certain Bags of Sea Salt Rice Chips

US-based Lundberg Family Farms is voluntarily recalling certain bags of Sea Salt Rice Chips as they may contain dairy allergen that is not mentioned on the label.

The products associated with the recall include 170g bags of Sea Salt Rice Chips bearing UPC numbers 0-73416-03530-0 for US, or 0-73416-03540-9 for Canada with best before date of 08 June 2015.

The recalled products with code 140811 have been packed on 11 August 2014.

The recall has been initiated after receiving a consumer compliant.

Lundberg Family Farms has notified the distributors and retailers across the US and Canada about the affected product and requested them to remove the product from shelves.

Consumption of the recalled product may cause serious or life-threatening allergic reaction in people allergic to dairy. However, no illness has been reported associated with the product.

Customers who have bought the recalled products are advised to discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
