Ishida Europe is set to showcase its food packaging solutions at this year’s Foodex exhibition in the UK.
The event will take place between 16 and 18 April in NEC Birmingham.
At the event, the company will exhibit new CCW-RV-E-214W multihead weigher for the weighing of free-flowing and semi-sticky products.
The new weigher can be used in dry, fresh and frozen food applications.
The firm will also exhibit mid-range RVE series, advanced QX775 tray sealer, AirScan leak detector, IX X-ray inspection system and DACS-GN checkweigher.
Ishida will exhibit 6-head CCW-R2-106B Fresh Food Weigher to weigh all types of sticky fresh products in smaller production batches.
The firm’s IX-EN-4093-S-ray inspection system integrates Genetic Algorithm (GA) image processing function to effectively identify damaged and missing products or components.
Ishida AirScan will enable to restrict the spoilage of different pre-packed retail food products where CO2 is used as part of the MAP process.
The system uses advanced laser technology to detect leaks of CO2 from holes less than 0.25mm in sealed MAP packs at speeds of up to 180 packs per minute.
The DACS-GN-SE checkweigher range features an advanced display to learn menu structure for quick set up and operator training.
It can also be installed with Ishida (retailer reject confirmation (RRC) to allow food manufacturers meet the latest retail codes of practice.
The QX-775-Flex tray sealer can be used for products such as ready meals, meat, poultry, fish and salads. It is also compatible with different packaging applications such as standard MAP, skinpack and shrink film.
