A company claims it has a module which will speed up the transfer of embedded design based on TI's Beaglebone to production.
Based on the Texas Instruments Sitara AM335x,the TRITON-TX48 from Direct Insight offers ARM Cortex-A8 performance and OpenGL ES graphics acceleration for industrial applications.
The module ships with production-ready BSPs(Board Support Packages)for Linux and Windows Embedded Compact 7.
The module measures 26mm x 68mm and features full industrial spec,including-40C to+85C temperature range.
It can drive a resistive or capacitive touch-screen display up to 1366 x 768 in resolution, and its interfaces include USB 2.0 Host and On-the-go,SD Card,I2C,Audio,multiple UARTs,and SPI.
The module also offers dual Ethernet, including support for gigabit data rates.
A development StarterKit-5 is available with an optional range of compatible touch screens of both capacitive and resistive types, with resolutions from 320x240 to 800x480.
