After creating a mark in the adult fashion industry, the British womenswear brand Preen is now foraying into a unique pint-size venture.
The label is prepping up to unveil a new childrenswear collection, which will be a downsize version of its mainline, on January 25, 2014.
According to vogue.co.uk, the miniature line will feature the remarkable floral prints from the brand’s 2014 resortwear collection.
Made from soft fabrics, the range will include hooded sweatshirts, pleated bell skirts, shirtdresses and cocoon coats in frosty shades.
The Mini Preen collection will be first released with a pop-up store in Selfridges’ outlet on London’s Oxford Street, and would later be available at Mon Petit (New York), Boutique 1 (Dubai), Club 21 (Singapore) and online at www.childrensalon.com.
The London-based Preen is owned and operated by designer couple Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi. The label commands an impressive list of clientele that includes the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger and Marion Cotillard.
