Las Vegas Market announced today that its Winter 2015 edition—scheduled for Sunday, January 18, to Wednesday, January 22—is timed to coincide with the second annual Design & Construction Week (DCW), bringing together five of the leading design and construction industry trade shows in Las Vegas, in what is expected to be the largest-ever residential construction & housing exposition in the nation in 2015.
Design & Construction Week brings Las Vegas Market—the most comprehensive furniture, home décor and gift show in the western United States—together with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders Show (IBS); the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS); the International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE); and The International Surface Event (TISE), made up of SURFACES, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and TileExpo. The first-ever convergence of these five events will offer new cross-market opportunities to Las Vegas Market buyers and suppliers.
"Las Vegas Market, together with these other established events, will offer our vendors and visitors the ultimate synergistic shopping experience,” said Robert Maricich, Chief Executive Officer, International Market Centers. “This synchronization of tradeshows and markets will have direct benefits for our furniture and home furnishings suppliers and buyers, as well as indirect benefits for our related home décor and gift audience.”
Design & Construction Week is particularly well suited to the needs of the interior design trade – an attendance category which has increased by 76% at Las Vegas Market since 2012. The synergistic marketplace fulfills interior designer needs from beginning to end, with products connected to the building process (from building materials, flooring, plumbing and lighting fixtures) to finishings such as window coverings, home furnishings and home décor.
