Marks & Spencer Plans to Sell Its Own Brand of English Whisky

British multinational retailer Marks & Spencer has entered into an agreement with English Whisky to sell its own brand of English whisky.

As per the agreed terms, English Whisky will manufacture Fine Single Malt English Whisky for the retailer.

Marks & Spencer is expected to begin the sale of approximately 3,000 bottles of its cask single malt this week, reported EDP24.

Commenting on the deal, English Whisky managing director Andrew Nelstrop said, "It is the first time we have bottled for one of the big six supermarkets.

"We have always sold under our own brand before."

English Whisky currently produces about 150,000 bottles annually.
