French vehicle manufacturer Renault has introduced Mégane Estate GT 220, which will be sold as a limited run performance edition.
Mégane Estate GT 220 comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine that develops 220hp and 340 Nm of torque.
In addition, the engine will return a fuel consumption of just 7.3 litres/100km returns with CO2 emissions of 169g/km.
The new edition will also feature a Sport&Start ignition system that will keep the fuel consumption and emissions under the EU's radar.
Renault's new Megane Estate GT 200 is expected to go on sale in France in November 2012, ahead of its launch in 11 other select markets, from Europe to Japan.
Mégane Estate GT 220, which is made in Palencia, Spain, will come with a chassis based on the Sport chassis available for Mégane R.S, calibrated electric power steering for the GT chassis and the same high-performance tyres as Mégane R.S.
