It’s reported that India’s steelmaking and mining company Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) announced that its finished steel output totaled 236,838 tons in November, hitting the highest level in the current financial year.
In the April-November period, RINL’s finished steel production increased by 3% year on year.
In the first nine months of financial year 2013/14, RINL said that its turnovers increased to INR78.19 billion.
Meanwhile, the company’s sales of iron and steel, finished steel and special steel increased by 10%, 12% and 11% respectively, all compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
