Harrods Has Recalled Certain Date Codes of Leonidas Fresh Belgian Chocolates

UK-based department store Harrods has recalled certain date codes of Leonidas Fresh Belgian Chocolates, as the products may contain allergens, which are not mentioned in the ingredient list.

The product subject to the recall include Leonidas Fresh Belgian Chocolates bearing the Best before date of 3 December 2012 and 20 December 2012.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has notified an allergy alert and has asked people who are allergic to wheat, nuts, milk or egg to not eat this product.

Harrods is recalling the affected products from sale and will contact the relevant allergy support organizations who will inform their at-risk members of the recall.

Customer notices will be displayed in stores explaining the steps consumers can take if they have purchased the product. No other Harrods products have been affected.
