Kathy Andersson, color marketing manager, The Sherwin-Williams Company, will present “Color Trends” to attendees of the KCMA 25th Annual Management Conference, Exposition and Plant Tours in Sioux Falls, SD, September 28 through October 1. Andersson, who leads the Sherwin-Williams Product Finishes Division’s Global Color and Design Center in Greensboro, NC, will offer a presentation based on the Sherwin-Williams Colormix 2014 color forecast, including videos that speak to four separate themes and product samples.
Andersson has more than 20 years of color and design expertise, and is a chairholder and active member of the Color Marketing Group (CMG).
The presentation will take place from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29 in Amphitheater II of the Conference’s Best Western Ramkota Hotel, 3200 W. Maple St., Sioux Falls. Sherwin-Williams will also exhibit at the Conference.
“I am excited to share the Sherwin-Williams color trending forecast with the leaders of the kitchen cabinetry industry,” Andersson said. “Color is a vital component to the success of products. It has been reported that when all things are equal, including quality, consumer purchasing decisions are made on color 85 percent of the time.”
The Sherwin-Williams Global Color and Design Center provides customers with innovative color and finish options that can help them improve their products as well as grow sales. Services offered through the Center include trend and finishes forecasting, color consulting, color palette assessment and recommendations, market-specific trend boards, custom formulations, system design and color card design. The Center also provides hands-on training seminars for their OEM customers, designers and global brands.
