Back when Sears Holdings Corp. was more of an automotive service force with which to be reckoned, an advertised price from a Sears newspaper ad or flyer was noticed by tire and auto service retailers everywhere.
With the reduction in outlets and some financial problems, Sears and its Sears Auto Centers are not as strong as they once were. Does that apply to their advertised prices as well?
Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich is trying to find out. In his latest blog, he looks at two oil change deals the company is promoting with the help of NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. They involve synthetic blend and full synthetic oil changes.
