National Glass Association's Glass Management Institute to Launch a Series of Six Webinars

The National Glass Association's Glass Management Institute will launch a series of six webinars, June 25, led by distinguished leaders of the glass and glazing industry. The online, interactive classes will cover the following topics:

•Leadership. Russell Huffer, former Apogee CEO, will provide attendees insight into how to lead their companies during challenging economic times and gain leverage on the competition.

•Marketing.  Led by industry consultant Max Perilstein, this session will cover all facets of marketing, including social and electronic media, as well as communication strategy and branding.

•Emerging Technology. Presented by Mike Lemen, president of ThermView Products, this session will cover the latest innovations and materials now available to the glass and glazing industry.

•Human Resources/Health Care. Led by Window & Door and Glass Magazine authors Susan McKay and Matt Johnson of the Gary Law Firm, this session will focus on continuing healthcare changes, including the Affordable Care Act and how it will affect glass and glazing companies.

•Financial Forecasting. Mark Silverberg, president of Technoform, will provide nsight into how to prepare and forecast for business needs.

•Legal/Contracts. Presented by Rick Kalson of Babst & Calland, this seminar will provide attendees with tips on how to win the payment battle through the proper use of lien, payment bonds, state prompt payment acts, contract terms and conditions, and key judicial decisions, as well as other legal remedies.
