Life saving tools maker StatGear has introduced a visor mounted device SuperVizor for breaking automotive glass windows quickly that could be utilized if a person gets trapped inside.
The device is said to break glass in seconds during emergency situations when every second counts.
The emergency situation can encompass accident in which a person might get trapped or when a child or pet is left unattended in the heat. The device helps people to not only break glass but also cut seat belts.
The device also empowers by-standers and passersby to rescue those trapped inside a vehicle conveniently with the tool.
New York City paramedic and CEO Avi Goldstein said: "A tool that is strong enough to break glass and cut through seat belts, and is easily accessible is vital during a rescue.
"When I saw the video of the woman using different objects to try to break the window of a car where a child was suffering inside... This is exactly why we invented the SuperVizor."
The SuperVizor, a patent for which is pending, has 440-gauge stainless steel as its material with a sharp hook blade capable of cutting a seatbelt. It also has a carbide tip designed for breaking window in seconds.
The sheath is also stated to attach to any car visor, in readiness with the capability of being pressed into action any moment.
