Central European OSB prices have dipped slightly over the course of the past few weeks after stabilising briefly in September. Prices fell even though demand is relatively steady for this time of year. A variety of manufacturers and buyers report price cuts averaging to date. A few surcharges like those for tongue and groove products and OSB/4 have also been lowered slightly. In addition, the gap between prices for OSB/3 and OSB/2 has widened a little. One manufacturer’s late September push to raise prices for deliveries from 24 October by 3.5% thus ultimately went nowhere. Source: euwid-wood-products.com
