Taiwan-based solar wafer firm Eversol has announced that operations at a 1.5MW ground-mount solar power plant in Hiroshima, Japan, a project with Japan's West Holdings, kicked off in June 2013 with a daily power generation of up to 7,500kWh.
The PV power plant is entitled to a feed-in tariff rate of JPY42 (US$0.42)/kWh for 20 years, Eversol indicated.
Eversol has already established a solar module joint venture with West Holdings in Japan to produce PV modules. Dubbed E-Solar, the JV held an opening ceremony in July 2012.
