The Los Angeles County Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (LA/NECA) recently celebrated its 75th Anniversary. Chartered on July 6, 1938, LA/NECA has been dedicated to the electrical construction industry and its members for 75 years. The chapter marked the occasion with a special event on September 12, 2013 at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. More than 200 people were in attendance, including nine past presidents of the Association representing terms in office as early as 1987.
LA/NECA is a local chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), the voice of the $130 billion electrical construction industry that brings power, light, and communication technology to buildings and communities across the U.S. LA/NECA represents contractors in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, and is dedicated to enhancing the industry through innovative research, performance standards, progressive labor relations, and workforce recruiting and training.
