Atlantic Enterprises Bags a Two-Year Contract to Manage Supply Chain of Pizza Hut

Food packaging supplier Atlantic Enterprises has bagged a two-year contract to manage supply chain of fast food joint Pizza Hut for two years.

Worth about £14m for the two-year period, Hampshire-based Atlantic Enterprises will begin supplying the chain's pizza, starter and side dish boxes, which will be sourced from overseas manufacturers, from 1 January 2013.

The number of boxes to be supplied will be in excess of 35 million each year.

In 2013, Atlantic plans to launch a nationwide trial of its new Eco-fold, a fast food box design that uses less cardboard.

Atlantic Enterprises supplies die cut food grade packs to its UK customers on an annual basis.
