Central European chipboard and MDF/HDF manufacturers are meanwhile cutting back their output more conspicuously again. The number and duration of the stoppages will grow sharply in July; Machinery is being shut down for an average of 8-10 days. This downtime is being used for maintenance work or conversion projects in a variety of cases.
