US-based A-B-C packaging has introduced new depalletizer, Model 108RT, which helps maintain bottle stability for reverse taper bottles during the process of high speed transfer from the pallet and throughout single filing.
According to the company, the smaller base configuration of reverse taper bottles is said to cause instability during transfer due to which they present a depalletizing challenge.
The depalletizer features devices that square and secure the top pallet layer and also the secondary layer prior to container transfer.
The slipsheet will also be maintained firmly with the device as the top layer is swept from the pallet to the loading table.
In order to hold the bottles in a tight pack, each product load is kept under control on all four sides from the pallet throughout the process of depalletization.
A conveyor will single file the bottles, gently pull them from the pack and later on guides them to the line conveyor.
In the process, removal, separation and stacking of picture frames and slipsheets happens automatically, the company noted.
The depalletizer, which is said to be built for reliable and long-term operation, has a solid channel steel frame and welded and bolted construction.
For smooth container transfer, the transfer table is crafted of stainless steel, while operation and changeover are managed at the touchscreen operator panel that provides access to real-time operating data, diagnostic reports, and full machine manuals.
Other performance features of the depalletizer include heavy shafts and industrial roller chain for the sweep drive and elevator drive.
The compact design of depalletizer provides economical floor level operation and offers low, medium, or high level discharge ensuring visibility of all operation.
