Jasper Engines & Transmissions, in Jasper, Ind., said it has expanded its remanufactured General Motors 5.3L V-8 engine offering to several 2010 through 2013 Chevrolet, GMC and Hummer models.
The GM remanufactured engine is available for the Chevrolet Avalanche, Tahoe, Suburban, Colorado and Express vehicles, the GMC Yukon, Canyon and Savana, and the Hummer H3.
Fully tested variable valve timing gear and cylinder heads, the latest original equipment lifters and new head bolts are among the features of the remanufactured engines, Jasper said. Each engine is covered by a three-year/100,000 mile transferable warranty on parts and labor. The company also offers a premium service plan.
