It’s reported that Quintain Steel, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan released its price policy for next January.
The company decided to cut prices for certain wire rod products by NT$500/ton. However, it remained the prices for wire rod products which are not used in screw making unchanged for January.
After the adjustment, Quintain Steel’s list prices for Al-killed wire rods are at NT$24,100/ton; those for rimmed wire rods are at NT$22,600/ton and those for blast furnace (BF) killed wire rods are at NT$21,600/ton.
