UK-based label printing and finishing machinery supplier AB Graphic International has installed the new SabreXtreme laser label cutting system at Springfield Solutions.
Springfield operations director Dennis Ebeltoft said, "The new digital set-up enables us to offer a much quicker, more flexible and efficient service and makes management easier in terms of stock levels and financial exposure."
The new technology does away with with the requirement for conventional die cutting tools and the costs associated with production as well as storage.
Label converters using the SabreXtreme can offer a selection of five or six materials and finishing options for small jobs to their customers.
Offering a smaller number of materials makes it easier to combine the jobs for better printing, the company said.
