Sleep Apnea Patients Has a Pap Mask Introduced by Circadiance

Circadiance, a manufacturer of respiratory products, has introduced the SleepWeaver Anew soft cloth full face PAP mask, designed for continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) users who breathe through their mouth while sleeping.

The SleepWeaver Anew has a dual interface design, which seals around both the nose and the mouth with soft cloth touching the skin.

Its cloth technology allows the skin to breathe without accumulation of moisture between the mask and the user's skin.

Available in three different sizes, the new PAP mask allows for a greater variety of sleep positions.

The mask's open-face headgear design accommodates eyeglasses and allows virtually unrestricted vision, while its loose fit provides added comfort and eliminates strap marks.

Circadiance founder and CEO David Groll noted the company is excited to offer its soft cloth technology to even more people who use CPAP to treat obstructive sleep apnea or to provide non-invasive ventilation.

"With the SleepWeaver? Anew?, even mouth breathers can sleep in comfort. We're always working to develop products that make PAP therapy more comfortable," Groll added.

In 2007, Circadiance introduced SleepWeaver, reportedly the first all-cloth respiratory interface.
