British luxury car manufacturer Jaguar is planning to debut its two-seater F-type sports car at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show in France.
According to the carmaker, the new sports car will be launched with a choice of three petrol engines, which include 340PS and 380PS variants of new 3.0-litre supercharged V6, and a new 5.0-litre V8 engine.
All the engines will be mated to an eight-speed transmission, which will allow the car to sprint from 0-60 mph in five seconds and offer a top speed of nearly 180 mph.
The new sports car, featuring stop/start technology, will be on sale by mid-2013 as a coupe version, while its hardtop R variant will be launch in 2014.
