Celupaper has entered into an agreement with Italy-based Toscotec for a new PM3 tissue machine and to rebuild the existing PM2 machine at Papelera Nicaragua in Argentina.
With the new machines, the company will be able to reach a total annual tissue production of 75,000 tonnes.
The PM3 is based on an intensive energy-saving concept. Its delivery includes the approach flow system featuring ultimate Toscotec technology TT SAF, a Modulo tissue machine with single-layer headbox, single press configuration and Toscotec steel Yankee dryer TT SYD-2500MM.
An electrification and controls package will also be a part of the supply apart from Milltech gas heated hood and steam and condensate system.
Toscotec's scope of supply will be completed with an erection supervision, start-up assistance and training services.
These new lines will help in enhancing Celupaper's production cycle in terms of flexibility and energy costs. There will be a production of 50 tonnes a day of different grades of high-quality tissue.
The company said in a statement that the PM2 rebuild has been designed to reconfigure the existing Fourdrinier machine.
Celupaper will install the new TT SuctionPressRoll-SPR820 and the steel yankee dryer TT SYD-2500MM within the first quarter of 2015 which will allow an increase in the production speed, and guarantee a considerable energy savings and improve paper quality.
Owned by the Speranza family in Argentina, Vual is involved in the manufacturing and trading of tissue paper.
