India-based Aurobindo Pharma has named Arvind Vasudeva as the company's new chief executive officer (CEO) of the formulations division.
Previously, Vasudeva served at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as chief operating officer, as well as RPG Life Sciences as managing director, where he transformed the company into profitable operations.
In addition, Vasudeva served in Wockhardt, a India-based pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, as president for Indian operations as well as Japan and ROW markets.
Aurobindo Pharma vice chairman Nithyananda Reddy said Vasudeva has three almost decades of experience in formulations sales and marketing and business development.
"His expertise, professional capabilities and leadership will help the company to strengthen its position in the Pharma space further," Reddy added.
